The old Ace Hardware, owned and operated by Janet and Robert Zimmerschied since 1980, was too small to accommodate their growing business. With funding provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program, the Zimmerschieds built a new 15,250 sq ft store. The new store triples the floor space of their original store, provides expanded parking and is architecturally compatible with the historic design of downtown Buffalo. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with Wells Fargo Bank.

Energy Wash Systems
Gillette, Wyoming
Lee Roy Jewell and Dan Swaney did their research and determined there was a need for a new car and truck wash in Gillette. With funding provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program, they built Energy Wash Systems, a state-of-the-art car wash, which offers commercial fleet accounts with monthly billing for commercial and field service vehicles and trucks. Individuals are also offered the monthly billing feature. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with First Interstate Bank.
MER Tax, Accounting & Consulting
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Mary Richey launched MER Tax, Accounting & Consulting in 1992, working from her home. To accommodate her growing business, she purchased a building with funding provided by the SBA 504 Loan Program. MER Tax occupies 75% of the 1,250 sq ft professional office building; the remaining offices are leased to other professional entrepreneurs. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with Jonah Bank.

Poplar Wine & Spirits
Casper, Wyoming
Dave and Mike Reed opened Poplar Wine & Spirits in 1998 in a leased industrial building. When the landlord decided to return the building to its original industrial use, the Reid brothers decided to construct a building to match their long-term vision for the business. With funding provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program, the Reids constructed a 9,204 sq ft building to accommodate the expansion of the retail and warehouse areas, a wine tasting bar with covered patio and a commercial kitchen. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with First Interstate Bank.

Quality Inn of Rawlins
Rawlins, Wyoming
Dallas Bligh is well known in the Wyoming hospitality industry for his reputation of making upgrades and improvements to the hotel properties he owns. Bligh purchased the Quality Inn of Rawlins with funding provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program. The Quality Inn is a well established full-service hotel property, highly visible from Interstate 80. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with American National Bank of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Sidewinders Sports Grill & Tavern
Jackson, Wyoming
In 2004, Joseph and Denise Rice remodeled the building that currently houses Sidewinders Sports Grill & Tavern. With over 9,300 sq ft, Sidewinders includes multiple dining and bar areas, a fireplace and comfortable lounge area, and a liquor store all under one roof. Funding for this expansion project was provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program, administered by WIDC Frontier CDC, in participation with the Jackson State Bank.
Something Healthy
Newcastle, Wyoming
Patricia Cole opened her new business Something Healthy in April, 2001 in a small leased space with limited visibility. With funding provided through the SBA 504 Loan Program, she purchased a commercial building with high visibility on West Main Street. The building features 6,000 sq ft of merchandise display area and convenient parking. Something Healthy offers a full line of natural foods and supplements, herbal remedies and teas, sports nutrition, books and other health products. The SBA Loan program is administered by WIDC Frontier CDC in participation with Pinnacle Bank.
